End-user license agreement

You get a perpetual license to use ToolSuite on the number of Macs your plan allows. Some tools can erase disks or files; they warn you, but you are responsible for what you confirm. Keep backups. We may revoke a license that was refunded or obtained fraudulently.

1. License

ToolSuite (“the Software”) is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on up to the number of Macs stated in your plan, for personal or business use. Free tools may be used without a license. A 14-day trial of premium tools is granted to evaluate the Software.

2. Restrictions

You may not resell, sublicense or share license keys, or circumvent the activation mechanism. You may not reverse-engineer the Software except where the law allows it.

3. Updates

Updates within the same major version (1.x) are included. Major upgrades may require a new purchase; we will say so clearly.

4. Destructive operations and your data

Several tools (Secure Shredder, Partition Manager, RAID Manager, Bootable USB Creator, Forensic Clone, Data Carving, Storage and Privacy cleaners, Folder Sync) can delete, overwrite or erase data. The Software describes what each tool touches and requires explicit confirmation for destructive actions. You are responsible for maintaining backups and for the actions you confirm.

5. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolSuite shall not be liable for any loss of data, profits or business, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

6. Refunds and termination

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. A refunded license is deactivated. We may terminate a license obtained by fraud or used in breach of this agreement.

7. Privacy

See the privacy policy. The Software sends no telemetry.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of France. Consumers in the EU keep the rights granted by their national law.
